Arc-en-Ciel Modern Art, LLC

Modern Art for Everyone™️
As a self-taught artist, I've been able to dabble in a little bit of a lot over the years. I've found the most success and personal joy working with fluid acrylics, and love to the freedom that comes with creating abstract art. My work integrates interesting textures, playful chemical effects, different techniques and tools, and mixes in creative media on various substrates to yield truly unique and beautiful modern art pieces.

Arc-en-Ciel is the French word for rainbow.

The rainbow has historically and universally been the iconic symbol used to represent hope, love and acceptance...
To me, the rainbow serves as a reminder that there is beauty and awe in unity. Every color of the rainbow comes together to form a single brilliant arc. This is how humankind is meant to be: coexisting and complementing one another in the same beautiful space. Our society needs to DO BETTER to end hatred and intolerance, to end violence and prejudice, to educate the ignorant, guarantee human rights and promote equality for those in marginalized communities. I've built Arc-en-Ciel Modern Art to give my clients a way to show they share in this vision of acceptance and love. I donate a quarter of my profits and they have a piece of art they feel good about displaying.

About the Artist

Kris Woodcock, Austin TX
An educator of 23 years, I've come to consider myself not just a teacher, but a collector of skills. I'm an information hoarder, a knowledge junkie; a seeker of siphons to chanel my creative energy. I also feel called to fight injustice, to do my part to end the discrimination of difference. To educate those who have become complacent in their ignorance. The last few years have delivered unprecedented legislative blows to the equal rights movement, especially in Texas. To help, I am donating 25% of all Arc-en-Ciel Modern Art, LLC profits to the Human Rights Campaign, the ACLU and the TFN Education Fund.
